Established in December 2011, the Diego Juniors Football Coaching Academy was founded under the guidance of Fr. Lazarus, with support from Fr. Alex Quadros, Fr. Peter Rodrigues, Fr. Vincent Pereira, Fr. Wilfred Fernandes, Fr. S.V. Louis, and Rev. Bishop Thomas Dabre. The Academy was born from the ambitious vision of Mr. Rodney Lazarus and Mr. Sidney Lazarus to nurture football talent through a structured training program emphasizing holistic development—body, mind, and spirit.
Beginning with just four students, the Academy has experienced significant growth, now training over 100 students across its main facility and associated school projects. Our comprehensive coaching approach focuses on technical skills, physical fitness, mental resilience, and ethical values, aiming to develop well-rounded athletes prepared for success both on and off the field.
At Diego Juniors, we are committed to fostering a passion for football, instilling discipline, and promoting teamwork among our students. Our experienced coaches and supportive community strive to create an environment where young athletes can thrive and reach their full potential.
